A girl on a tram, who looked not at all Italian, but nevertheless had a strange, knowing, undefinable smile, which could only be likened to the mysterious visage of the one and only Mona Lisa. The face seemed perfectly formed because the smile absolutely dominated and made any other criticism of feature irrelevant. A smile to make men want to be teased by it forever and more, but curiously a feature outside the measurement of the modern 'perfect body' concept of beauty and by which the girl on the tram would be assessed as ordinary looking.
lyrics
MONA LISA
You look like Mona Lisa, enigmatic smile
Perennial, the teaser, got a cool, cool style
Should be painted by Leonardo
Should be hung on a wall
Yeah, you look like Mona Lisa
I’m at your beck and call
Perfect in proportion, a golden ratio
Proceed with proper caution, a smile that always knows
You look like Mona Lisa, relaxed and so serene
No emotions gonna seize ya, like a cat who’s found the cream
A beauty, but is it classic?
Not everyone agrees
Old Leo clearly thought so
A visage that would please
Perfect in proportion, a golden ratio
Proceed with proper caution, a smile that always knows
Alone Mona is ugly, with Lisa it somehow flows
You look like Mona Lisa, upstaging any rose
You look like Mona Lisa, as you stare out on the world
We were put on earth to please ya, the perfect mystery girl
Should be painted by Leonardo
Should be hung on a wall
Yeah, you look like Mona Lisa
I’m at your beck and call
Perfect in proportion, a golden ratio
Proceed with proper caution, a smile that always knows
You look like Mona Lisa, perennial, the teaser
Yeah, you look like Mona Lisa, I was put on earth to please ya
You look like Mona Lisa, you look like Mona Lisa
Yeah, you look like Mona Lisa, you look like Mona Lisa
Look like Mona Lisa, you look like Mona Lisa
You look like Mona Lisa, you look like Mona Lisa
