Silver-tails have always held a particularly lowly status in my world order, yet ironically I have met and liked many. But there is nothing quite as pitiful as the truly dissolute silver-tail, down to the last survival tricks, cajoling and wittily bargaining for a beer or whatever. But even silver-tails are not invulnerable and it is real pity that their fall often evokes - it's somehow harder for them
